This year’s initiatives will bless our friends and family in East St. Louis, children impacted by foster care, and single parents here at GardenCity. Each act of generosity becomes another line in God’s bigger story of hope and redemption.

Your generosity can help keep someone warm this winter. The Streetlights team is collecting new coats of all sizes, from toddlers to adults, for our friends and family in the John DeShields and John Robinson neighborhoods of East St. Louis.

Coats can be dropped off on Sundays, September 28 through October 12, at the designated Streetlights collection locations. Just look for the lime green! 💚

All coats will be distributed at the annual Streetlights Coat Giveaway & Halloween Bash, where children and families in East St. Louis will experience warmth, dignity, and joy.

This Christmas season we have the chance to bless single parents in our church family by providing a day of childcare and fun for their kids while parents take time to prepare for the holidays.

We need our GardenCity family to step in and serve. By volunteering, you can give generously with your time and create a safe, joy-filled space where kids can play and flourish.

This Thanksgiving, we are excited to show love and care to our friends in the John DeShields and John Robinson neighborhoods of East St. Louis. Together with our partners at Streetlights, we have the opportunity to provide families with a complete holiday meal that communicates dignity, hope, and the joy of the season.

A donation of $40 or more will purchase everything needed for a full Thanksgiving dinner for one family. Every gift becomes part of their story of celebration and reminds them that they are not forgotten.

GardenCity partners with The Restore Network, a local organization committed to changing the culture of foster care so that every child can experience healing and belonging.

Each Christmas, Restore hosts a beautiful celebration for foster families. It is a day filled with joy, community, and the reminder that every child is seen and loved. We have the opportunity to be part of that story by purchasing gifts for children in care.

Your generosity will help create a Christmas morning that speaks dignity, hope, and delight into the lives of kids and families walking the foster care journey.
