What We Believe

About God

There is one God, the Creator of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

about Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the true God and true Man. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of all men. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.

about the holy spirit

The present, supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. During this age He indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer for Godly living and service. Every believer can be filled with the Holy Spirit.

about the bible

The Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. In the Bible, we find the revelation of God's will for the salvation of men and the divine and final authority for the Christian life.

About Baptism and Communion

Water Baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age; however, they are not to be regarded as a means of salvation.

About Eternity

There will be a bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting joy with the Lord and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.

About Humanity and Salvation

Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost. Regardless of our spiritual journey, we all experience this brokenness that separates us from God. The result of this separation brings death, both spiritually and physically. By our own efforts and good works, we cannot make ourselves right with God. Those far from God, new to God or close to God all fall short. Even in our sin, God loves us completely. This unconditional love is displayed in the perfect gift and sacrifice of Jesus who came to live the sinless life we should have lived and then died the death we deserved. The shed blood of Jesus and His resurrection provide the only grounds for our justification and salvation. In our brokenness, Jesus willingly died for us so that we could be saved. Salvation is a free gift for everyone. No one can be too lost or too broken

for salvation. Surrendering our life to Jesus comes from a prompting of our heart to experience the love and freedom of the God who created us and the Savior who loves us. Salvation only requires an acknowledgement of our need for Jesus and a belief that he died for us. Through salvation, we ask for the forgiveness of our sins and that Jesus would live within us as the leader of our lives.

About the Church

At Faith Family Church, our desire is that everyone would come to know the love and acceptance of Jesus. We believe this is the best life anyone could ever experience. However, we recognize that we are all on a journey of faith. As Christ followers, we are committed to loving and graciously accepting others regardless of where they may be on their journey. Because God is patient with us, we are patient with others. We believe in the power of community. That the more we expose ourselves to the truth of God's word and the gathering of His people, the more God can transform our lives. Therefore, believing is not a

prerequisite to belong at Faith Family Church.
